when i was a th6 i used to come in prepared to 3 star but the valks would always kill my clean up troops. Now that im a th8 drags are a little hard but i bring ten wiz with my attacks of hogs![]()
For me, I really dislike seeing a loon heavy CC as a th9 as they can wreck golems if your aq is banging on storages. As a 10, hound + whatever is probably the most annoying.
when not in war, i really hate seeing wizards. the new poison spell doesn't kill them quick enough, and if you are raiding with a bunch of giants barbs and archers it just takes out your giants too quick. then your whole raid is done.
For the most part I completely ignore the cc troops these days. When I do have issues it is only against 35 archers and only when they split into 2-3 different directions. Everything else is a non-factor. At high level th10 you're gonna get 2-stars on any base if you're a decent attacker. As much as I hate it those that "practice" will probably even get 3-stars.

lureable cc? any troops no problem.
unlureable cc? hounds or dragon plus balloons
Maxed drag, super slow to lure and time consuming to kill with archers . Can wreck a battle if luring fails or cc unlurable. Lava hound for aerial raids. Anything else is easy enough whether ground or air.
There aren't any cc troops I hate to see at th9. They're all pretty easy to kill.
Now, one of my alts is a th6 and a witch can eat up so many troops to kill that the attack is only a 2 star. But people usually don't spend that kind of loot protecting th6s.
