Th9 30/30 heroes full lava before max defense (5 builders working)

Very nice! Just wondering did you war at all during this time? I noticed you did have quite a few war stars.

I'm currently in a similar situation.. more than half of my walls are skulls and I have only been a TH8 for about 20 days. I also have my mines and pumps sitting at lvl 8 and lvl 9 with my 5 builders working consistently. I must agree it is difficult to stagger builder times now.. I can't imagine how much harder it will be at TH9, I will probably start to have a builder idle a couple weeks into TH9, still trying to figure out what would be best for me.

Unfortunately my clan wants to be maxed defensively at every TH, so I can't move up to TH9 right away once my skulls are almost done.

Would you say crystal was the best place to farm for all 3 resources?

yes I always war once a week.
Before th8 i war a bit more maybe 2 times a week.
Until th9 i always could get 6* and barely failed to 2*.
In the start of th9 my target was a max th8 or new ,rushed th9 and I still could 3 star and rarely 2 star them with drags then loonion and lavaloon.
Now I mainly can 2 star and barely 3* max th9 (should practice more for 3*)

- When i upgrade both heroes non stop i always make sure to have queen in wars. (gem queen for a few hours if needed)
- when i upgrade queen i always gem her for war. but when i upgrade king sometimes i gem him and sometimes i just war without him depend on my target.
- because i reached king 30 first, now i can use both heroes in war each week.

Total gems i spent in this game other than builders:
- 150 gems for boosting
- 1400 gems for hero upgrade time (1100 for queen)
- 250 gems for golem lvl4 (I really need it and could not wait)
All gems come in game.

as you can see i just play this game for less than one year (2015.10.20 would be the anniversary) so IMO my war stars are not bad for a player who war once a week.

Your clanmates dont understand the concept of this game.
Any defense upgrade just will increase your whole clan weight in wars.
You only need max offense and a good base design to defend against 3*
Really no defense can help you to avoid 2*. even a normal attacker can 2 star a max th9.
one of my clanmates have 30/30 heroes but lvl8 cannons lvl5 mortars and wiz towers. he do best in wars.
My biggest mistake was upgrading one x-bow to lvl2. that is not needed.

And crystal is the best league imo. just go up and down (from 2100 to 2400) when loot is bad in a specific cup.

Great job dude, it is a rare feat as people usually maxed def or completed lava walls first. It is even harder if you never use gems to speed up heroes upgrade. At th9, heroes are real grind.

Good job man well done. This is so inspiring to move from gold to higher leagues to farm using the league bonuses, think I will give this a try.

Nice dude. I currently have 21/21 heroes and 50/250 Lava walls. Just farming for DE right now and concentrating on my heroes. Gold gathers naturally for me (while I'm DE farming) so I'm not worried about farming for walls.

Section 3: walls upgrading
Upgrading walls was not a problem but the main issue was staggering builders to avoid reaching full storages.
Also I prioratize lava walls over lego and I recommend this to everybody who want to reach full lava more efficiently because if you finish lego you will lock yourself on 3+ M gold,lix (above th9 cap) all time.

Congrats on your accomplishment. I am a little surprised that you did the two longest tasks (walls & heroes) before defenses and even the lab, which can be finished relatively quickly. I've had max defenses/lab for a while now while finishing up walls n heroes. And if you do it that way, it's not necessary to stagger walls, a th9 with max defenses and legos pretty much never gets attacked in my experience no matter how much loot they have. A couple months ago someone hit my de with a superqueen, but that's it.

Yes i almost never attacked.
Honestly now im at 39/40 snipes but still somebody with both heroes or war armies could reach my de storage.
Pushing to high leagues is the best defense because bonus is considerable and people will next with few troops to find snipes.
Also im not max defense. I did all my defense upgrades war wise so for example i left mortars at 3 lvl5 and one lvl4 x-bows are at lvl1 and lvl2.
