Ok, so this does have its own forum but I cant post there. This is opinion, feedback and suggestion.
War Matching is terrible, bottom line. We have extremely unbalanced matchups, despite trying to balance by kicking and managing players. To be honest, its entirely to difficult and in many ways unfair that I need to kick folks. The system may actually finally bring my over year of play to an end, and close up my clan and move on. Now for my recommendation:
* If it is not possible to find an exact or equal in clans, then provide the option to accept a challenge for unbalanced clan war.
I would like for the algorithm to say, OK we can't find someone equal to you. So we can expand the search, will you accept the challenge? At this point, I am losing clan members every day. I replace those members with jumpers, donation leeches, and non dedicated members who leave during war. So, please come up with a fix for this soon. There just isn't enough to keep me going.
You can influence matching greatly by the people you select for war. You can also influence the broadening of the algorithm by canceling and restarting every 10 minutes if you do not want to search with expanded and potentially more unfair results. Just like you have to be a student of the game to learn attacking and building defenses, there is an equal learning curve for working the war match system. My biggest problem is we have a clan that is more disciplined than the average about building walls, and therefore we run into higher enemy troops and defenses than we probably should sometimes. I'd say eliminate walls as a factor for the matching algorithm and we are good to go.
