    New COC Troop: Phoenix, and New Born Phoenix

    Hello fellow forumers, my name is Brutis and I would like to be sharing a new troop idea of mine today. I call it the phoenix. I see that the Clash of Clans regiment is filled with exciting, and quite annoying sometimes, mythical creatures and warriors and I would like to add on to that by introducing my new troop idea!

    I. Introduction:
    Like me, I am sure you fellow clashers have using the same old troops, Hogs, Wizards, P.E.K.K.A.'s, Giants, etc. Well even though I have a new troop for you, it wont keep you from Barching your way through bases, but it will keep you from those big mean buildings that are so hard to destroy with your regular troops! Not saying this will keep you from being bombarded all the way through your attack, but maybe only 1/4 of the way through if you use it right. Well here it is, my legendary creation, The Phoenix! Now right now, you might be thinking, what?? Well since not everybody knows what a phoenix is, I will shed some light on the magical creature. The Phoenix is mythical bird that is usually associated with the almighty Sun itself. The creature can be reborn after death, and trust me, it lives a very long time! The Phoenix can symbolize renewal (healing), do you see where I'm going? Well lets skip the introduction and see what this crazy orange firebird can do!

    II. Attacking strategies:
    The phoenix is a firebird that lays down dark elixir/fire with every blow. She has a healing spell around her that heals other troops but not her. She can work well with Golems and Wizards forming a GoPhWi, or a PhWiGo. She can use the Golem as a meat sheild and her healing spell will aid the Golem well maybe two other Phoenix's are attacking somewhere else with wizards being constantly healed around her. When she dies she is reborn as five other phoenix's that are smaller, faster, and cuter . The phoenix is a very good troop to use for war and, if you use it right, can give you a 3 star victory to a reasonable base. Since you know it sounds pretty good, why not use it right? Well every rose has it's thorn, and so the pheonix can't extremely over powering to enemy bases, we can't make it be TOO good. So let's poke at the thorns a little bit shall we?

    III. Defensive strategies:
    The phoenix can be compared to a dragon in may ways, such as the fact that it flies and uses fire as an attack. There is one thing that makes the phoenix different besides the healing spell and it's rebirth. It has less Health (Hitpoints). Which can make it an easy target for air defenses and Air Mines/Air Bombs. So keep those heavily guarded if you think you might get pummeled by these majestic creatures. Also, like I said earlier, these can form a good aliance with Golems when attacking, so aim your air sweeper where you think someone would usually place a Golem or two, and you are sure to frustrate the enemy. This way, the phoenix will not be able to provide enough of the heal spell to the Golem to keep the attack working properly.

    Satisfied with the protection of your base yet? If not somehow, maybe you can consider looking at the stats below?

    IV. Statistics:
    Here are what you will need to know, the meat of the whole post

    Level Damage per second Hitpoints Training cost (DE) Research cost (DE) Lab level required Research time
    1 180 1,200 100 N/A N/A N/A
    2 210 1,500 160 40,000 6 3 Days
    3 240 1,800 220 60,000 7 6 Days
    4 270 2,100 280 80,000 8 9 Days
    5 300 2,400 340 100,000 8, or 9 for Town Hall 11 12 Days

    V. Extra Information:
    Here I will be giving more background on the legendary phoenix and more stats that don't involve leveling up.

    The phoenix has been featured in Harry Potter. In fact, it's name was devoted to one of the books! :eek: The phoenix has been used as symbols since ancient history, and is well known in greek mythology. The phoenix is usually seen as a beautiful orange bird that ranges in size from small to very large. It is also the name of a city in Arizona, and a college!

    Phoenix*:
    Movement Speed=24
    Attack Speed=2s
    Dark Barracks Level Required=5
    Range=5 tiles
    Housing Space=20
    Training Time=25 minutes
    Attack Type=Burn effect to single build at a time(10% damage per 3s), Area splash, 2 tile radius(Ground & Air)
    Preferred Target=None

    Phoenix Reborn*(5 smaller phoenix's after death):
    Damage per second=50
    Hitpoints=78
    Movement Speed=28
    Attack Speed=3s
    Range=2.75 tiles
    Attack Type=Burn effect to single building at a time(5% damage per 3s), Single target, 2 tile radius (Ground & Air)
    Preferred Target: None

    VI.Appearance:
    Not much to say here, but it should look similar to the picture I have given below. It will be orange, very orange, flap its wing softly wen it is moving from one place to another. It will make the same movement when destroying structures and getting rid of Clan Castle troops, but the wing flapping movement will be less suttle, and a lot more intense with far coming out from under itself! You can easily similarities with the phoenix and the dragon, just like you can with the Giants, and Golems.

    VII. Conclusion:
    As you can see the phoenix is a pretty balanced troop that will be helpful on the battlefield. I hope you guys like this troop idea. I need your love and support to help this troop become a new member of the Dark Barracks and the Clash of Clans army. Thank you guys for taking the time to read this, it means a lot, I spent a lot of time on this with all the research so thank you!

    "The battlefield is getting hot, very hot! The legendary phoenix has called upon you to use it, will you answer the call?"
