    Lower Damage Percentage for Shield

    Just a thought that if people were to get a shield at a lower damage percentage, say 25% perhaps, this would change the way people farm to some degree. You'd have fewer outside TH and more people trying for a defensive win. You could still farm, TH snipe, and scavenge for abandoned bases. But some percentage of players would change from an outside TH design to a protected design thereby increasing some of the competitive dynamic of the game.

    In my opinion 40% is a great line. Far enough from an easy shield (Leaderboard players, cheap shielding etc etc...), and close enough to the damage a proper attack can cause.
    A top player with several accounts (take pie as an example) could easily exploit a low shield percentage.

    As for farming, lowering the percentage wouldn't change much. As a farmer myself, I want that "2% TH snipe" shield. Not a "goblin rush on all my collectors" shield.

    I'm not sure you can influence change by keeping things exactly as they are.

    This would be bad news for Champion and higher leagues, it would mean even more players get hidden behind shields.

    This will make the cloud issues they face worse.

    No but if it ain't broke, don't fix it until it is. The system is pretty balanced right now between time spent under a shield, loot from collectors, and nexting time. Why change, when the current system works.
