but im planning to chill and upgrade lab stuff for a some time before farming again

i don't think i can do it ,i almost died making them 25. plz give me words of inspiration and motivation, i barely survived last time..
10 levels but only 5 levels for each hero, So it's 5 weeks of upgrade nonstop of both heroes at same time. You can do that! if you find hard doing with TH9, i suggest you go TH10, lot easier. with extra drill and stronger troops.

My AQ is finally max today after grinding for so long on my 1 yr old account (rushed TH10)

Your heroes at 25 each, is still 5 levels each to 30 for TH9. It's also no where near last push as you mention, not even the half-way DE mark.

So, instead of motivating, it sounds pretty demotivated. It's a grind, which I have been through, hence my advise to all new TH9/TH10 is to concentrate priority on DE & heroes. Not gold/elixir, which is secondary. Walls last, to dump extra resources when there is no builder free (before start next upgrade).

If you can't grind, max the drills and lazy farm.
For a TH10 yes, but he is only TH9 so he only has 5 levels per hero left. He can worry about the rest of that mess when he upgrades to 10. He just hit the last milestone/hero ability bump before maxing them for his TH, I would call that the home stretch for his current TH.

And he never said he couldn't farm the de, he just said hes getting a little burned out on it. I think he's done great so far, no need to poopoo his progress by comparing him to a max TH10, its apples and oranges.

You could ask for only giftcards for your birthday/holidays/etc. and gem them to max for th9. Then take a long break, and eventually start up again to max them for th10. It's an awful plan, but it's all I could think of...

Just take it one level at a time. If you look ahead too much, you will get overwhelmed. At level 25, your heroes are good enough, even for a TH10. It's the sub 20 heroes that really hold you back. My AQ is going down for the last time this week and will finally be maxed, my BK is still at 37, but won't be long once I finish my AQ.

Higher level heroes make raids a lot easier and give you more room for error. I really wasn't impressed with my BK until he hit like level 35 lol. He just seemed to die too easily, but now he is a beast! I think he gains more than the AQ from 25-40 as far as usefulness/improvement goes. At 20+, the AQ is awesome and just gets better, but the BK is underpowered until the 30's imho.

You are at the point now though, that your heroes aren't going to hold you back at all from anything, especially at TH9, where most people I see stall out around level 15-16. So don't feel pressure, just enjoy the power increase as you level them up from here. I think the real pressure is to get them into the 20's.

Excellent post. I also follow the one level at a time motto. Mine are 21/29 at TH9 right now and I'm soldiering on like you. I can say is keep at it but don't put all your time in them unless you want to. Doing so can burn you out.

25/25, like Micker said already allow you to play/war at a high level. Ill add that seeing as you have the patience to get them above what the "ordinary" (~15/15) TH9 clasher often stalls at is already an impressive achievement, but why not go on and better that, be above the average and amongst the very, very few players who can say "Ive worked hard and done it, I've maxed my heroes at Th9!" Seeing that 30 on my AQ when I click my profile and when I see the other clanmates watching a live war replay when I put that queen down to wreack havoc is all the motivation that I need.

It is hard work but in a grinding game such as this, such long term grinding achievements are what can make a game such as this so satisfying.
