    Salvaging Troops

Hello fellow Clashers. Have you ever been in that situation where you have successfully raided a base, however there are still some of your troops on the battle field?

If this suggestion was to be added into this game it would change battling for the good, as this circumstance is extremely frustrating. I was thinking of how this could be done and came up with salvaged troops would have half the health, than regular troops, or the exact amount of health they ended the attack with.

I have decided to post this suggestion, as it is similarly used in another one of Supercell's games Boom Beach, I believe.

I thought that this idea could be extremely popular, however I found that this is not true after checking the already suggested ideas.

I also wanted to take this opportunity to suggest more attack time, as it is extremely irritating when all of the opposing defences are destroyed, but there isn't enough time to finish the attack. Please extend the raiding time.

    Regards, bigbinman9.

    I strongly Agree

Troops that had survived in a battle should come back toArmy Camps as the Clan Castle Troop come back from defences

I am active boom beach player and while playing COC I always feel that . Also logically if your troops didn't die in battle so where did they go and why you have to replace them with new troops ? Unnecessary waste of resources and time .

As a th10, I would just train 12 L5 dragons, and then only attack th8s. I would never lose a dragon and I could keep raiding over and over and over until I had all the loot in the game...

What he said. This would be a crazy advantage for higher level townhalls.

Already suggested a thousand times. Would clearly be abused with top tier troops. This isn't Boom Beach, sorry.

thats right whatever u guys said so the match making should be improved so that th10 gets only th10 .. Leaving the troops part don't u think th10 can still abuse that way only choosing easier bases ? Putting their strong troops only on weaker bases

The way the economy in coc works is that each th raids most of their loot from the th before them. It isn't so obvious earlier in the game(up to th6) but after that you will understand. If th10 could only attack other th10s, it would be impossible for them to get loot, so the system punishes them by reducing the amount of loot they get for attacking lower th. At 1 th lower, it is a 10% reduction, at 2 ths lower, it is a 50% reduction. Eventually it gets so bad that it is just pointless. BUT a th10 could still make decent loot off th8s if they didn't need to pay for troops(if they were returned after every raid).

Remember that most of the time you play coc is played at th9 and up. Getting and passing th8 is short and easy compared to th9. The game is run from the perspective that getting to th9 is the goal, all the ths up to that are irrelevant and really just a stepping stone. Just muddle through as fast as you can, but dont rush, and you will be there soon enough.

Solution? The troops only regenerate when a person attacks same TH or when he/she makes 3 stars

But why get them back at all? That isn't how the game works and there would probably be other issues than just the ones that I have already outlined. For one thing, it would make finding a base to loot a lot harder. Do you remember when sc let everyone boost their barracks for 1 gem? There was no loot anywhere because everyone was raiding! It really sucked. The same thing would happen, no one would have to take the time to train troops, so everyone would always eirher have a shield or be raiding themselves.
Once you get farther along you will understand why its not a needed feature.
