Recommended trophy count for farming + farming tips - TH8 - Troops lvl4

so I went down to under 200, but:
1- not much of GREAT raids...(nothing I wasn't able to find on ~1200 at least)
2- and I figured out that if you want to stay at that level...you mainly need to NOT have a life and just stay online all the time!

So I am going back to 1000+ and wondering, now that I am at TH8, troops lvl4 (still upgrading my laboratory) and no barbarian king yet:
1- what is an acceptable trophy level for my troops (for now at lvl4)?
2- what combination do you recommend? I usually do goblins+ 6 giants + 6 WB ... should I try arch + bar? (again for troop lvl4)
3- I am upgrading my dark elixir driller to lvl2 to reach to 10K as quick as possible....any tips on that?
4- what do you think of my base so far:

I am town hall 8 as well........ i got the barb king by raiding other villiages (not farming as DE is usually always well protected). I was also aroung the 1400-1600 trophy range where DE is accessible.

However, it will be relatively difficult to farm those villiages with level 4 troops because most bases usually have good defences all round.

How many DE do you currently have?

To farm.... i use around 80-100 goblins, 30-40 archers (in order to get atleast 1 star) and about 6 wallbreakers. It works wonders!

When the ground opens up and swallows your base whole for not maxing first, post a screenie willya?

1-2 scout around, experiment. Most likely since you still have th7 troops, you still have to go for th7 targets at half the income for a while.

3. I used three lightnings and got bk in a week at 7.

4. Looks like you are having trouble with income. You might want to read some guides on farming.

float around 1200-1300 range with 12 wb 64 arch 56 gob and barb, lots and lots of farming ahead of you !

1200 to 1400. 1200 if you want more elixir and gold and 1400 for more DE in between for a mix

Lightnings it is!! thanks for that...p.s.: I did max out almost everything before going to TH8...thanks for the advice

1200 to 1400. 1200 if you want more elixir and gold and 1400 for more DE in between for a mix

I suppose I will stay around 1200 till I get my troops upgraded...i.e. about a month!

I say to get a lot of resources go to 1300-1400, you will lose some defenses but you get a lot of resources

For low THs, TH7, TH8 and TH9 ranges between 1100 and 1500 are fine, with the bottom better for 7s and under with 1100-1200 not as suitable for TH9s. Idk about TH10s, but they seem to struggle under the 1500 range.

If 180 army camp space 90 to 100 barbs and 80 to 90 archers.Fill ur spell factory with 1 lightning spell i rage and 1 heal spell.f 200 army space is 200 100 to 110 barbs and remaing archers>Same spell> Hope this works for u

Silver 1 to Gold 3 is our sweetspot. Just use barch and boost raxes and farm from to time.

Upgrade archers and barbs to lvl 5 asap.
