I feel your pain. I've had epic attacks one war, then another you attack similar or slightly weaker with no success. Hate that. But it does keep things interesting.

Right there with you... dropped a heal spell accidentally, which resulted in my beautiful hog attack falling from a lovely 3 star attack to an irritating 97% 2 star attack on a rushed th8. This following a fantastic 2 star attack on a much stronger th 9.... it doesn't bother me when I 2 star a stronger base, but failing to 3 star a weaker base irritates the heck out of me, and noone to blame but myself.
