You are not ready yet. Get the Golems and Loons up and I would even get the Pekka to 3 because you need a ton of elixir at TH9 so you might as well get them done at 8 instead of wasting 2 weeks at TH9 getting them done. Thats a month worth of lab work for you. Spend that month doing walls and I would also make sure I have 2 PEKKA barracks done.

TH9 is an elixir drain so do all your elixir upgrades here at 8 before heading up while elixir is easy to get.

Other TH9's and TH 10's love purple walls. Hate them all you want but they are important.
Can confirm, I love purple walls.... when I'm the one attacking them.
Piggyback off what everyone else said, loons to 5, golems to 2, and upgrade those walls. 500k/pop is a drop in a bucket going forward.
