ITS A TRAP !!!.......a very expensive trap.

I feel like traps are far too expensive to rearm. If you are like me and are trying to farm, you rarely use the full 12hr shield except for sleep time so it makes no sense for me to rearm every time I am raided. Are traps mainly just for trophy climbers who don't have to worry about recourses and for war defence? Are they too expensive???

You don't have to rearm the traps. Also, don't put your traps outside your base, keep them deeper in, so people don't trigger them. Put your TH outside your base. Many things you can do to avoid people tripping your traps.

What TH level are you? Do you have you TH outside?

Are you trapping your TH? If you're doing it right you'll just be sniped 90% of the time.

My th8 is well outside my walls and my traps are scattered behind a layer or two of walls near my storages but I just find they are not worth the effect for the price. I would like to rearm after every time they are set off but its just too expensive.

Haven't reloaded a trap in quite some time, maybe 6+ months, TH outside in a corner with decorations around it. Sniped in seconds.

What is your reasoning as to why you would like to re-arm them after each raid if triggered?

If you're an active farmer/raider and rearming them to 'defend loot' I would suggest to to keep a builder idle and just dump excess loot into your walls, the best way to protect your loot is to not have any to raid.

I personally would rather have that gold you're using on your traps to be put into walls.

Yea I don't rearm my traps except for skeleton which not easily trigger unless they go deep into my core..

Have you ever saved up for some of the larger upgrades?

The best strategy is springs for anti-hog. Don't put them deep put them around the first ring as they are dirt cheap to rearm. Put the GB at the bottom of the first level or near the second level. You want them to trigger only if your defenses are breached and two max on one side.

That should deal with any pesky wizard, archers, and will prevent you from going broke should he breach one side with a PEKKA. This is common sense stuff. I rarely have to pay more then 30K on traps and it's well worth it because I regularly save 5-8 million for IT and Xbows.

    ^Agreed. I haven't re-armed traps nor loaded my X-Bows in quite a while.
