Higher level leader...easier to start a clan?

I have always wanted to have my own clan, but whenever I try I can't seem to get high level players to join. Well now that I have a decent base with good troops, does that have an effect on getting people's attention?

Hi bro, im in same situation, lvl125 started my clan 2 months ago, believe me your level does not impact, if you dont have small core.to start with, i mean at least 2 or 3 good friend to help you, stong mature and generous it will be easy but if you are really alone you will suffer

if you're going to start a clan, I recommend getting some rl higher-level friends to join you. if not, being in a high league (master or better) is eye candy for a lot of people. it's real tough to start a clan, but once you get a solid playerbase, it's a breeze. good luck!

You need some initial competent players, followed by endless search through Global trying to recruit. I highly recommend pushing to Champs League for recruitment purposes; it makes recruiting a breeze...

Lookout for offensive capability of players and their stats relative to their TH level. No rushers, no freebies, no TROOP PLZ brigade. If anyone comes in and instantly asks for a Dragon when they are Barching just throw in the boot.

Recruiting on the forums is better than global. Just sayin'. Just do it in the proper subforum.

It's easier to recruit in global if you got a high league badge. I find being in champs all i have to do id say hi and I get a bunch of requests.

People say the forum is better for recruiting but I've never had anyone join. I think theres a lot of competition on the forum and you post doent stay on the first page for very long at all.

I agree that recruiting on th forums takes time and effort. But, the rate of hoppers is so much lower on the forums. People on the forums are often more loyal than what you can get off Global. If Global works for you, cool.

I've been a leader for about year & a half. I started as th8 not maxed with less than 10 friends then friends brought their friends. After that we started to get people requesting to join. The most important part of starting a clan is :

- Having RL friends with you at least on the beginning
- Set moderate rules at the beginning which gradually become more strict
- Set several goals for clan short term(20/50/100 war wins & lvl5 clan) & long term(lvl10 & 200 war wins)
- Make competitions(Max donator, War Hero, best farmer & other stuff)

Without above you can still make it but it will be a tough road ahead. Try to do above and you should succeed as long you have time & passion to do it

Recruiting on Forums is just has hard tbh. Unless you have a well established thread already, or have been around the forum so long ppl recognise your name...recruitment threads are a dime a dozen...so you need something to make yours stand out.

Being high level helps to recruit from global but the 'hit or miss' rate is high. Best way I find is to try and network as much as possible and make ppl get to know you and your clan... attract ppls friends and friens of friends. Take part in events.

After a while you will find the whole recruitment thing runs itself...ppl just sort of appear and wanna join. I havent recruited in months and I frequently run into space problems. I try to always have space for visitors so there is always a bit of flow in the clan.

I think being higher TH plus higher league really helps, but finding the good clan members is the hardest part.
