Overheal?

I just replayed an attack on me and the attacker used heal spells. He deployed 24 giants that ran into my giant bomb. 1gb deals 175 damage in a radius so the giants(lvl 3) were left with quarter hp left (my wiz tower were also attacking). So total damage of gb would be 4200. The attacker deployed heal spell and the giants hp returned to full!!! A lvl2 heal only does 800 total heal so how did this happen?
