If there is an issue with the AI, point out exactly why there is an issue. Is there a glitch or bug? How can we replicated this? What conditions need to be fulfilled for this to work. What happens when one of those conditions is not met? etc...

I have no issue with using wbs. Usually bring 6 wbs if I need to bust 2 layers of walls (extra pair just in case of springs or a bad timing from WT or Mortar.
Uhhh, "I experiment with WB's all the time." That is an attempt to learn, but honestly, the WB AI is inconsistent to the point that there really is no learning. Sometimes they go where you want them to (and logically should go from where placed) other times they do not.

But the thing is SC specifically said they were doing something with WB's and it failed.... some sort of explanation should be given, just saying it didn't work, gee thanks.

you really have that much trouble with wb? Are you sure you understand how they work? I just added a bunch to my last raid and opened up a th9 right to the core (I had 6 compartments to go through to get to the core). Each time I dropped a wb, I predicted exactly where it was going to go. They work pretty well as is.

I thought they were going to have the new wb AI target more junctions, rather than target the closest trapped building. However it did not work as well as they intended. I'm not sure a better explanation is really needed.

The wallbreaker AI is not inconsistent. If it were, replays would not work. You just don't get it yet.

Wall breakers are such an inconsistent troop that no guide can be made to teach users how they work. Those that say WB's are fine, okay great, make a guide! The last wall breaker guide was what, cica 2012? They have changed lots since then, yet no guide exists for wall breakers which is just sad. Clash is a strategical game, WB's is the most stratigacal troop because they could/should be able to dictate the direction troops attack in.

The AI is what the AI is. Could it be better, sure. But, it is consistent and non-random. You just have to be smart enough to figure it out. It is not learn how to funnel, it is understanding what each troop will do when you drop it.

True, it's AI is what it is, but your failure to understand that no amount of "smarts".... let's put it this way, when you drop WB's in one section of a base that meets all the criteria of what WB's will hit but they run off to another section of the base further away, there is no figuring that. Call it bad luck, call it broken AI, but to say that is how it should work is beyond ridiculous. You do not drop barbs right in front of a building to attack the building to the left or right of it do you?

Again, the AI will ALWAYS do what the AI will do. The same EVERY time. The fact that you can't figure it out is on you. Replays are not videos. They are a dropping of troops at the same location at the same time for an attack. There is nothing random about what troops do. Would I like different outcomes, yes. Especially when I don't zoom in properly when fine control is actually needed. It is on me, not the AI. We may need to agree to disagree.

I sense you frustration but when you say you know how they are supposed to work (they just aren't working that way) and others say they know how they are supposed to work (and they are working that way), it's hard to help without seeing an example.

I tried to follow the example you described but it was hard to visualise. A pic or vid or even a drawing would help heaps.

Im sure I have seen threads on current wallbreaker AI on these forums and youtube but still not sure if the problem is some aspect of the AI you aren't getting or actual inconguent WB behaviour.

How can people give support? He didn't ask any specific questions or give any examples.

If anyone cares to post a screenshot or video where they're struggling to understand what's happening then people will offer advice.

Because they actually don't know how it works themselves

On serious note, I use wallbreakers all the time and haven't yet seen anything wrong with their AI. Just practice more and see exactly how their AI works, with time, you will predict exactly where the wallbreaker will go.
