I'm currently a TH8 trophy pushing, I'm kind of stuck in Crystal 1 because I can only manage to find other TH8s worth 20 or less trophies but on defence I'm always 30+ trophies for TH9's attacking me. Can someone explain how the trophy thing works?

ppl with lower trophies will be smaller offers. All other th8s you find will probably be lower. The 9s attacking u are probably lower than u aswell, so their offers are bigger. Just keep searching and grinding. Good luck!

Maximum limit for a normal th8 is master 3 and after that no th8 can actually survive without extreme hardship. If u are THAT DESPERATE. Then use giants wiz archers. 16 giants 12-16 wiz rest barch and wbs.wait for only 1 hour even for spells and dont attack any base offering you less than 30 trophies and ur main aim is to just 2 star.

I'm a TH8 in Champion and winning +40% defences against noob rushed TH8s isn't rare at all.

4 Things.
1) I made champs as th7 so masters isn't "maximum limit" for th8
2) if your gonna wait the one hour for spells, then why not cook up a mass drag or gowipe
3) Attack bases that are under 30 but no less than 10.
4) Go for the 3 STAR!!!! Not the 2!!!

Im th 10 lvl 125 and have never been in champion, so you can guess what im going to say, save your time.and.ressources stay in those juicy silver and golden leagues shorten your safari to a maxed th10 then your are free to to go to titans or where you want
