When Should a TH9 upgrade to TH10?

When farm troops, war troops, and spells are maxed, and Heroes at least 20/20 is what I would recommend.

Personally I'd say whenever you feel it benefits you the most.

I went straight to th10 after my defence was completed, no point having sleeping builders and I don't regret it one single bit.

I'm going when my lab is done. Working on lava and heros now everything is else is looong done, but lab is the driving factor for me.

Just my 2 cents I would say all legos and heros both at 25 or better. All other upgrades, lab included, should be done. Im completly maxed except for 38 lava walls are needed and my heros are 25 (king) 23(queen). I plan on maxing both before I go. That being said its your game play how you like and however makes you happy. Clash on

Hold off as long as possible. At th9 you can use gibarch raids on live th8 to two to three star. Afterwards, you are pretty much stuck with go wipe or using expensive troops on live th9.

At th10 there is a 250 nexting penalty which is huge. 1K per search. Also th9 have a 50% loot penalty and you'll have to deal with th10 IT in alot of cases to get significant loot.

So yeah unless you're maxed troops, walls, or buildings hold off as long as possible.

Agreed. Only when everything is maxed though. My walls actually came first. It's such a grind at th10.

I went with the lab maxed, maxed defences, 2/3rds lego walls, level 15 heros.

I was absolutely fine with one exception. Heros. The higher the better. 20+ In my opinion waiting on lavas is pointless. Heros should be your primary concern and if you finish walls then great, if not no worries.

Couple of things...barch is alive and well at th10, against 9s and 10s. Also there is a 10% loot penalty for a 10 attacking a 9....50% would be for a 10 attacking an 8. To the OP it's up to you really.....my first time I upgraded way too early with heroes below 10 and pretty much all skulls. 2nd time around I have completely maxed my 9 with lightning finishing in 1 day 17 hours and my th10 completing in 9 days 2 hours. Took a long time to get my first one respectable.
