Perhaps slightly longer and more frequent clanmail, along with the ability to go back and correct typos while writing so game doesn't time out. Takes me two or three tries sometimes to re-word it to fit and I leave out important details.
Individual or at least leader/co-leader chat in-game, yes, if it can be done without wrecking the game with a million bugs, pleeeease add this.

International clans will have a lot of problems with 12 hours.
