OP, sorry your clan died. It happens. Once you get a nasty looking war log, you just can't keep people. There are plenty more clans out there if you're still interested in playing. I suppose you can fix it, you only need 5 decent players and 5 filler to war. Sounds like there's not much worth saving though.

You know there is a whole game out there beyond wars right? 30/30 and lavas come in handy occasionally there....

It's just not a very interesting game outside of wars. Build up your base so it looks pretty? Trophy push so nubs on global fawn over you? I guess whatever floats your boat, but that never did it for me.

It's not a very interesting game at all. It is very simple and there is not much to do. It gets away with it because people don't expect much from phone games. If CoC were on a more complex device it would be looked upon poorly. It survives because it does a good job of being addictive (incremental progress) and getting you to log in often (if you don't log in every 12 hours you are just giving your collector loot away to attackers).

I don't completely disagree it's a simple game, but complex devices just have better graphics and certainly not better gameplay. You can't button smash Clash and do well. You can't build one massive army and trample over every opponent. I can't think of any games released recently that's true for.

I know there's a lot of games people will claim aren't button smashers, but they can be and are often most efficiently played that way. There's usually a different intended way to play, but if button smashing works, it's a button smasher. Bash the attack button, follow the arrow on the minimap, and kill everyone you see. In the case of strategy games, one massive army usually does the job with overwhelming force.

Which, is not to say Clash is the end-all, be-all of games, but more that modern games kinda blow.

I am just adding my story to these boards. I never saved the data to make this into a guide...so yeah to some ppl it's going to be like "........"

To me, war is a very interesting part of this game but, when only a small percentage of ppl are donating most of the troops and you lose the war, it's not fun anymore. It's a very frustrating situation. There were certain periods during our dormancy where we decided to war regardless of activity but, w/in the first 8hrs of war everyone involved realized what a horrible mistake it was. So, we stopped altogether.

Farming is fun! It is an accomplishment when you find a 700K raid and then upgrade something that's 6mil. Upgrading is a major part of this game. I don't know how people can mock it. (I don't feel mocked but I've read that sentiment countless times on this forum.)

Edit: Walls are a grind but, IMO, heroes to lvl30 was more of a grind. It was tough. I didn't barch. ('cause quite frankly I don't know what it takes to barch DE. I've seen countless videos and threads on this site about barchers getting 4k, etc/hit. In my 1.5yrs of this game, I probably came across 50 raids where I farmed 3k+ DE through drills. I don't know how these guys get so lucky. 90% of my DE was through 150K army and 1-2heal spells. That Ash fella and his vids/guides....god, I hate him so much. (out of jealousy) I just have no luck like that. And I did farm everywhere b/w 800cups to 2.5kcups.)

My average was probably around 1.6K overall. On a good day, w/ two sessions of 2 rax + AQ boost, I averaged around 60K/day. The max, I ever did in a day was 75K. In a week, I boosted 3 times on an average; hard to say how many sessions/day but, I did 3 sessions/day quite a few times.

After I got to th9, I got my queen to lvl25 right away and then did my BK to lvl 27....AQ to 30...BK to 30.

It truly was a grind.

That's pretty typical to have only a few major donors in a clan. And to be frustrated by a loss. I see bloody murder myself. The way I see it, everyone can contribute with troops, war stars, or a combo. If they aren't helping the clan, regardless of how much you like them, they have to go. I do have patience for people who are working on their poor attacks, and none for those who aren't.

Perks have made the game even more focused on war. Everyone wants to be in a high level clan, right? Well, that means constant war, and I suppose it's not for everyone. Oh, we still do get the occasional person who doesn't quite grasp that we are a high level clan because mostly everyone wars all the time and they think they can just opt out whenever, or worse, park. That's the stuff of level 6 clans.

And partial war? You're going to fight constant war clans, and usually that's a pretty one-sided match. Really, two war attacks every couple days isn't enough to stay practiced. Let alone even less. It might be nice if clans that didn't want to war all the time could fight similar opponents, but then again reducing the pool of potential matches wouldn't be great. And I know I would abuse that in a heartbeat, and so would every other constant war clan, if we thought it would help get easier matches.

Also, I agree the heroes are a bigger grind. I have over half my lavas done, and 15 hero levels left. I think the walls will be done first. Shoot me now, I maybe once liked farming, but it's past satisfying whatever obsessive compulsive quirks I possess.

According to Daddy, emulators aren't going to get you banned, but you won't get official support. If you do anything out side of normal gameplay, then you're in trouble.

I never said he'd get banned. I just found it funny that he went to the trouble of blurring his name in all images except the blue stacks image.
