Max heroes and walls at th9. My story.

I installed this game mid January 2014. Three weeks later stopped playing this game 'cause didn't like it. For whatever reason, picked it up again in early april; was maxed out th8 by october.

I landed in my current clan on my second hop and was delighted. No cc request would ever last more than 5 minutes. (No exaggeration! Hyper active.) This inspired me too and over a year later I have 100K in FIN.

Then came the wars. To this day I hate SC's initial war system where leaders weren't allowed to choose the roster. The then leader decided to "message and kick" before declaring war. Needless to say, a few mates didn't like it and they never came back. (Also clan tags didn't exist back then making it so frustrating to locate a clan.) Even though we won around 75% of wars, our clan dwindled over the next few months. Our once thriving clan of hyper active members went from 42 to 28.

Then there were boredom and real life factors further dropping our activity. We tried warring w/ the new system but were hard pressed to find a decent squad of 25. We lost around 60% of wars.

We haven't had a single war in past four months. Our cc requests linger for hours at a time. ...but, some of us are still here.

That was my CoC life in a nut shell. I have accomplished the following, which couldn't have been done without my once proud clan! Everything is maxed except for a few lab researches. (Never claimed that I "maxed out." )

Of course...there's no point in having 30/30 heroes and max walls if you don't war, but congrats none the less!

You know there is a whole game out there beyond wars right? 30/30 and lavas come in handy occasionally there....

But heroes are a huge advantage in farming, I know. Just we never had heroes in 2013...

The level 30 heroes are to help you get loot and the level 10 walls are to assure that you do get your town hall sniped as soon as you log off instead of someone trying to raid your storages. Defense is not there to protect your base from attack as much as to deter people from ever attacking your base to begin with.

I started in April 2013.....there were heroes then. My 30 queen is also an ace firefighter....so there's that.

Three ways to play the game. Farming, cup climbing and war. Choose one, enjoy and stop saying to people what they are doing is pointless. Good work on that maxed th 9. I'm a farmer and I'm close to maxed th 9 too, so I know what it takes. As iv found de raiding with barch only teaches you the game better then war, so we will meet others as a maxed th 10 in war, watch out as farmers will be the best players in clash soon.lol
