    Earthquake Spell Question

Is there any reason or benefit to upgrading the Earthquake Spell?

In other words, I use 4 spells to break down the walls, what does upgrading the spell do for you if at higher levels it still needs 4 to bring all the walls down?

Can someone expand on this or provide some feedback please?

    Thank you!

High levels of EQ do more damage to buildings. That's the benefit.

Well not that I am suggesting it, but a L4 EQ on a TH reduces it hit points by 1,375 hit points, that is 3.2 seconds of time for your AQ to do something else.

3.2 more seconds for the AQ to bang on some walls.

Well if you zapquake on or 2 ads, you can bring down lvl7 ads with 2 lightnings lvl5 and an earthquake, but you could also just upgrade your lightning spells and have more effect.

I think the only advantage is if you know there is a hound in the cc at and skeletons are set to air on a GoWiPe attack at th10, you can bring an earthquake instead and throw it into the core. 25% might not sound much, but if it hits the th, 2 max infernos, 3 max xbows and the cc as well as 4 teslas it may be really worth it for an otherwise useless spell. This are nearly 5K total damage you could do wih it plus you weaken the walls on the backside allowing your units to break out getting a few more percentage points.

Also consider a th10 cleaning up a th9 with dragons. You take out 2 ads with 4 lightning spells, use the rage to get in and take out the remaining ads meaning you have one dark spell left. An earthquake on the core will really help your dragons breaking through the high hitpoint structures.
