Matchmaking in Champs

Hi,

I am a TH9 farming in Champs. I had read somewhere that matchmaking in Champs was changed when they introduced Titan Leagues, so that matchmaking still finds similar bases if above 3200 trophies. However, each time I get a little higher than 3200, I seem to find 90%+ TH10 bases. If around 3180 its more like 60%/40% TH10/Th9, all the way down to C1.

Is this just a streak of variance (bad luck) or does matchmaking still search the entire pool if above 3200?

im th9 was up to 3500 about a month ago nothing but th10s with a very rare th9 if you want to next alot. was going to try for titan but there is no reward other than personal or just to say you have been there so i gave up. I will revisit when they add a 4th star and make it an achievment. good luck keep nexting

TH10 won't necessary 3 star a lower base up here in Champs. It depends on the trophy offer. Unless it is significant enough for a 2-3 stars trophies, otherwise most will just take your TH and find other opponents.

What I'm seeing in Champ 1, sometimes I do find TH8/TH9 in Champ 2 or 3, but offering only 1-3 stars for 3 starring. If TH outside, I'll snipe and leave. If TH protected, I'll drop all my troops.

If it's a protected TH8 with loot, say bye bye to 3 stars, 1 trophy win for the loot.

been in champs3, three weeks now as a mid to low th9. Mainly get sniped and left alone, even by th10s

That was my experience to. Mostly snipes since my loot was only mid range and the bounus was nice.

I did however see mostly TH10 up there as well. May not be just bad luck for the OP.

Thanks for all the replies. Well I'm farming in Champs for ~3months now and it's great. Most of the time I was around 3150-3180, where I was finding lots of TH9 and the occasional TH8. Last two days between 3200 and 3250 and almost none, thats why I asked. Think I will just stay below the 3200, regardless of wheter it was bad luck or something was changed.

Also for all TH9: If you leave your TH outside you will not get attacked often. The number of attacks is below 5% and most of the times it's a bad GoWiPe from TH8's or 9s.
