Here is the beginning of the attack. The King is already up.
He did take damage though. You can see he is damaged from your first pic you posted. He healed before the raid ended. It's simple. If he was hit with one minions shot he would easily heal in time before the battle ended.

I've seen/heard this altar (both BK & AQ) thing many times during nexting. As mention earlier above by others, there are two scenarios:

    1) No hero at altar. Then you see the recovered-ring and ringing sound. This basically means the hero recovered from previous attacker, while I was scouting/nexting the base. This happens quite common.

    2) Hero at altar. Injured very slightly during my attack. Recover-ring + ringing. Seldom happens to have this coincidence.

    OP case is #2 above.

If both royals have the same regen time, and one is dead before the other, they will both regen at the same time.

TL;DR : Royal's regen will start after the attack/defend is done
    That is simply false.

I have seen occasions where damage has healed before I get back to the village.

    wrong sub forum...

As a matter of fact I have seen and reported this on many occasions, check out

    in Bugs And Problems.
I have never given attention though to heroes regenerating health during an attack.

I believe it is either a glitch or proof of some or other kind of Fluffy Bunny.

    Yes and No
no1 would be what you'd expect to see
no2 is possible but it would need more time to elapse between injuring and the ringing

no3 is the case reported here: as in case no1 but with altar NOT empty !! (also check out the thread in Bugs n Probs http://forum.supercell.net/showthrea...vely-defending)

Everything about this is just simply not true mate. Might wanna do some research next time before posting.

No. Why dont you try it yourself. If you have king and queen at the same level, deliberately let your king die first. Then after your king died, deploy your queen and let her die too. Go back to your village and see if their regen time are the same or your king a minute faster then your queen.

You #3 is what I'm saying above as #2. No need for me to elaborate further on it, as you have a full page steps detailing it.

What happened is during my attack, enemy hero was just lightly injured losing a few hitpoints (not more than 30 or 60 hp). It could be from a very fringe balloon drop, or just a single minion, or fringe of wall breakers exploding, or fringe of golem exploding, or a single shot from lava pup, single archer hit, etc.

Few seconds (or a good 30-60 seconds) later, while I'm still attacking, that recover-ring + ringing sound happens.

What I haven't encounter or notice yet is double recover-ring + ringing.

Its not when they start taking damage, it's when you start searching for a match. That's when the healing begins, before they've even been damaged. Same thing as your troops training when you go into battle, they start training when you start looking for a match.
