Do you plan to level up heroes to Level 40 or not?

Yes. I'll put the utmost focus on both my heroes to 40/40 once I get to TH10 later on. Which means it'll be the moment of hardcore DE farming for me.

I am curious as to how many Clashers actually want to upgrade heroes to Max Level 40 or are content with leaving them at a lower level?

Lvl40 can really make alot of difference. Although lvl 35 each is very strong enough for a Th10, that extra hitpoints,damage and spawns can mean a big different if all your troops are dead and your queen is locked on the townhall taking heavy firepower.

I think everyone's goal is to max their heroes but like J said I think it all comes down to how much each person is willing to give to the game in terms of time and effort. I would like to max my heroes at some point but when I look at where I am currently IRL, I know I will most likely not even completely max th9 or get even close.

Yes, eventually. I am in no hurry to get them maxed as I enjoy the game while on the journey to max them.
