When to add x bows at TH8.5?

As the title says, currently got 1 DE drill upgrade and 1 dark barracks to do, all other elixir building upgrades are done. Heroes are both at level 10, I've got 50/60 legos, rest skulls, loons to 6 in a few days then hogs to 5.
should I wait till my heroes are 15 before adding x bows, I currently weigh 57k in war, max TH8 defences with an extra air defence at level 2.

this is being in competitive war clan.

I thought I'd seen this somewhere before, I was initially worried about x bows but since becoming TH9 level 1's aren't that scary anymore, lol.

Man we have defensively maxed TH9 who barely have 15/15 heroes. Or don't yet have 15/15. Yes, maxed all defenses.

You certainly shouldn't yet, IMO. You need, just my opinion, spell factory, clan castle, all camps, and either max hogs/witches or max loons/hounds...and AQ upgraded...before doing an xbow or a TH9 level defense or the new wizard tower.

Following the town hall 8.5 route, I thought heroes to 15 before I add xbows, Tyler, got a problem with this?

I have a huge problem with your definition of "8.5" being ignoring dark troops and focus on heroes. Each upgrade in dark troops is FAR more important than each individual hero upgrade. Your BK or AQ upgrade might be 40 HP, maxing your golems is 3 THOUSAND HP in your raid.

I dont have any of the th9 defense in.... camp, de drill, de store, GoHoLoon maxed, spells (except for light) maxed. AQ 18, BK 10, 140skull, 110 lego.


Only disadvantage is protecting de when it goes beyond 100k. 4 free builders, one builder is on the run non-stop ug aq. At aq 20 , i will get bk to 15 then go ahead to max aq (30) and max bk... guess by then the walls will be maxed..... man then I would ug th9 defense to max and finally bring in xbow. Well that is what im planning to do.

I can get a maxed golem in my cc, golems are at level 2 now, go to 3 after my hogs, my op struggles to 2 star me, can't remember the last time I got 3 starred, so obviously your views and mine differ!!!!!!
