Is there a certain amount of sections that you think using an EQ opens up, or is still "it depends".
If an EQ (4 EQs) opens up a mid section and four other sections (5 total), you think it would be worth it.

I am actually upgrading my spell factory right now (just hit th10) and I'm only using dark spells. I bring 4 quakes with me at all times. I found a base that had a big "X" as the core with 4 corners touching the DE storage. I dropped 4 quakes on it and opened up the ENTIRE base with it. Wrecked him for 250k each and over 2k DE
To answer your question, I'd say if it opens at least 3 compartments, or is used on the back side to let troops out of the core, then go for it.

It depends.
There are times when I'll drop it in a way that it opens the compartments I want but not the compartments I don't want opened up. I don't want my troops going off in all directions - I want them going towards the DE and TH.
Of course, my favourite way is when I can open the compartment and damage the IT and TH at the same time.

Very much "it depends". You need to look at the base, see how much of it the EQ allows you into, and how long your troops would spend bashing walls (while getting shot at) without it.
In a base with lots and lots of small compartments, it won't often be worthwhile, but if it has an open core, it frequently will be.
It depends on what kind of bases you're facing. There are 2 ways:
1. Identify a critical junction; ie. a junction which when destroyed exposes 3 or more compartments.
2. Casting it the area where your target (whether TH/gold/lix/DE) and supporting your army with wbs to get inside.
I tend to stick to #1 when i'm farming and the only time i use #2 is when i'm up masters/champs.
Again, it is base specific, you can carry around 4 EQs in your pouch for insurance until it's really needed. After all, it only takes up 4 slots.![]()
Depending on the base I am attacking I would consider 2 EQs in place of a Rage to be used in conjunction with a Rage spell for fast strong core destruction. Or a single one in place of Poison if CC lurable. I normally wouldn't recommend using EQ for walls because you need 4. 2 Jumps one in one out is much more effective for that specific purpose.
