It's a waste of time simulator that only misleads people. Don't even buy the app, pure waste of money.
you see clash of clans is a multuplayer online game and you will find people globally. The matchmaker isn't limited to a region of the world so of course this app is useless because it tries to show loot available by regions which is dumb and as the poster above says, during the sleeping/night hours and early morning hours, of course a region/country is going to have a lot of loot which isn't that helpful unless you are very lucky and the matchmaker pits you against opponents that live in that region quite often.

Perhaps you should actually have a little look at it, rather than slagging it off based on it doing something it doesn't actually do at all.

Yes, it is a guesstimate - and makes no claims to be anything else, since he freely admits he doesn't have access to the actual servers.

And I certainly wouldn't pay money for an app when the information is available free on teh website.

But it most certainly does not make the slightest attempt to suggest that loot will be different in different parts of the world.

It gives one estimate (at the top) for the current amount of loot, with a graph showing how this is expected to vary.

the section below that is a breakdown of where that loot is likely to be coming from, not an estimate of how much you might be finding in different regions.

Too small of a sample size to prove any definitive correlation. That being said if perhaps you could get 10,000 users farming in the same range and over extended periods of time you might be able to begin to make actual conclusions in regards to available loot.

Correct. I said I tracked it and it matched up well. Unfortunately, I'm not well funded enough to conduct a study of the magnitude you suggest, nor do/did I care to invest that much time and effort.

I do think people are quickly poo-pooing the whole thing without even taking time to think through the mechanics of it or do as I did and track it over an extended period.
