Some of you guys can be really quick to throw around your negativity.

    Seriously, this dude is right...

So he's promoting his web site... The point is that he has nowhere else to do so!

There should definitely be a place here for this!

Did you read above you, my name ? Second just because i have 4k views daily doesn't mean i need to stop or that enough. And please stay on the topic, which is creating a new section for us who own websites!

I honestly dont see a need to promote websites/blogs about clash when we have the forum to debate eveything clash under the sun. Its direct competition, why would Sc want to divert traffice away from teh forum to someones private site?

    Good luck and all nevertheless

    Tentatively agree with OP

I spend lots of time on YouTube. I'm subbed to plenty of channels and regularly visit a handful of them, while occasionally checking in on others.

I'm also a guy that would definitely read through a blog post on an interesting topic, presuming it is well-written. This is why I surf the General sub-forum often. My gripe with General is all the spam, trolls and repetitive questions/topics/content. It's obvious that people enjoy reading about Clash, otherwise this forum wouldn't exist. Having a sub-forum for Blogger's Corner is somewhere I'd go.

If there was a Blogger specifically dedicated to drawing up war attack strategies, for instance, I'd certainly prefer to head over to the Blogger's Corner and check out the link to his piece than visit the Attacking Strategies sub-forum or Clan Wars sub-forum. Every other thread in the Attacking Strategies sub is "How do I hit this THx?" or farming strategies. Clan Wars sub is everything and anything related to Clan Wars. I just want to see this guy's material while still remaining on the Supercell Forums.

In all fairness i am sure you are legit, but linking youtube videos are safe because youtube is running the ship.

Linking random sites can easily lead to adult content, che@ts, and many other things they dont want accessible or promoted on their forums.
I understand the security issues that could potentially follow when linking 3rd-party websites, but people like the OP can still link "random sites" even without the dedicated sub for Bloggers. I don't really think this is relevant. Having them post anywhere other than a dedicated sub-forum is just telling them, "Say goodbye to this thread because there is a lot spam here."

It really does seem harmless to give them a dedicated outlet for their material, unless I'm missing something here.

This feels like a case similar to "pls add my country flag"!

I have nothing against private sites for the purpose of expressing your passion towards a subject, in this case a game.

Promoting is something I do have something against. Not promoting itself, but rubbing it in the face to anyone you stumble upon. Having a link to your site in the signature of yours, that would be totally fine. If people find your content attractive, your site will get the exposure you are looking for.

What you could do to promote in a more subtle way is by taking part in this forum community, gaining the respect of people and showing that you do care about the content you make. Not just for the views.

If you were to start out on a video platform like youtube, gaining attention is a much harder task compared to, say, a blog. If you make good content, there is no search engine that will grab it and display it to relevant searches. You HAVE to promote it somewhere if you want to spread it around. To keep the forums relatively clean though, it is a very good idea to have a special place for just youtube related discussions/promotions.

Asking for a dedicted forum for the content you make.. it feels a bit cheeky. Why not just keep it in the creativity section? I am very positive that Supercell would consider adding a blog sub-forum if there is a need for them to do so.

Not sure if any of what I have said made any sense. I hope it contributed in some way. Keep doing what you do on your site! But please, promote in an acceptable way. Nobody likes it in their face.

    Have a nice day

Guys i just love it when people actually read the thread and understand what's about even if you don't agree atleast you have understood whats this about, this is just a way to keep the forum organized and less spam. Also it gives a chance to us who own website to promote our work like others do (YouTubers and Artists).

Comparing this to I want a flag is idiotic. By your ridiculous logic the YouTube section should be deleted. YouTube makes money off all their videos and SC doesn't get money from those. Youtubers are the most in your face people, they literally are recording their faces.

I find it really unfair that appealing stuff are more popular than unappealing stuff...

I find it really unfair that I don't have any idea what you mean by this or the relevance it has to the topic.
