Skulls aren't actually that expensive, especially if you keep a builder free and drop your spare gold into them. I'm just barching in crystal II. No easy dead bases, but if you're selective you can easily get 50% and take the league bonus.
TH7 should be easy meat for you as long as you lure and kill any cc troops before you start your raid proper. Barching should easily get you 1 star against a TH7, 2 if you use spells and your BK.
If all you can do is snipe, you need to learn to raid effectively!!
Keep in silver 2 or 3 and use mainly barching. giant archers wb, and few gobling if u want with 2 heals from time to time for more fun and deep loot, sure ur farming troop should go lvl 5 asap

I maxed valks from lvl 1 at end th9 all my troops was maxed th9 i did it for fun just tried valks few times after

Full archer loots raid , does it work?
From my experience, I Barched and have maxed TH9 defence with it, and maxed elixir offence. 75% of my raids are on dead bases in Gold 1/2, and 25% core raids on poorly designed bases. That is a surefire, quick and easy way of farming G & E as a TH8. I don't think Silver has that much DE, my advice, as a TH8, look to farm DE in Crystal.

Is it impossible to race to gold league or you just dun bother about loots . Just attack to get both. Whether low or high loots?
