I'm trying to decide if I should max my heroes to 30. My queen is 20 and my king is 17 and I'm fully maxed for th9 except walls, I have 49 level 10 and 201 level 9. Should I do th10 or finish out th9?? Thanks for the help ☺️

Get your king to 20 and go to th10 it's not worth staying there just farming walls and heroes anyways you get more DE as a th10
If you haven't maxxed your walls yet, stay at TH9 and max both heros and walls. If you skip lavas now it'd be a lot harder to catchup at TH10.
If you enjoy farming for Royals and Walls, stay at TH9, if not move on.

Way easier to farm walls and heros as a th10. Plus added benefit if you do clan war. Move up.
As others said before it is highly depend on If you war or not.
If you dont war it is just up to you to do what you enjoy.
If you war I dont see amy good reason to go to th10 without max walls or max (30/30) heroes other than boring.
If you are big on war, can you 2 star low/mid strength TH10 bases yet?
If you can, upgrade.

no sense trying to farm off TH8's as a 10.
I had the same question on my hands a couple of months ago.
Decided to stay at TH9 until it got boring, took it nice and easy, did events here and there just enjoyed being one of the toughest TH9s rather than a TH10 freshie. This also allowed my clannies to catch up some (helps in CW matching, because I was really far ahead of our main bulk). Without hardcore farming and hours of raiding each day, I'm now 55 lavas away from max walls and my King and Queen are 22/28 and I got all the new dark spells and other toys upto max.
Can't say I regret it, not at all.

It all depends on what you want from the game. There's more than 1 way of playing:
If you want to farm heroes, may as well do it at TH10, since you'll mostly get DE from TH9s anyway
If you want to farm walls, that might be quicker as a TH9; not sure
If you want to war, then you probably don't want to go to TH10. Ever.
If you want to seriously trophy push to the top of the leaderboards, then you'll need a maxed base - see farming, above
If you want to trophy push less seriously, then skill and troops are largely irrelevant, it's just a question of how much time you have and how many clouds you can tolerate before you go crazy. Better to try as a TH9, but even then clouds are likely to be the limit rather than skill.
