You think so? Clan wars can be really hard on a clan. Right now we (my clan) is losing an easy war. It just seems like nothing is going right this war. Everyone is having a bad war. I usually get 4-5 starser war, and got zero. The same thing is happening to others too. It just not going well. People are getting mad and making that known in chat... In a new clan, it would all just fall apart. If you think cw will help you start your clan, well....good luck with that.

A lot of new players are desperate to war... it is sort of what they think the game is all about.
So if they need to find 5 to get war, it makes it much easier for two friends to get to the point where they can war by finding 3 others.
Also, you only need to have 3 people stay in the clan, 6 raids should be a good effort for most clans to raid 5 bases.
I am STRONGLY in favour of this. (And that's very uncommon for me given the ideas typically on this sub forum)

After watching the clashcon tournament I think it's a great idea. Having only 5 people aside will make you want to keep track of every attack your team mates make giving everyone a certain amount of attention. During a 10 aside war I dont really look at the bottom few people. It also makes the destruction percentage that much more important.

draw will be common ? now the total destruction will be very valuable . it will not be common though total destruction is based on all clan members percentage of attacks . not stars.

The total destruction will be awesome to use

That's only if every single attack is a 3 star attack. If one person gets 99% and somebody else 3 stars the base, even if they both get 15 stars the one with the 2 star raid loses.

Ever since supercell made it not possible to have a draw in wars I think 5v5 is a perfectly viable option.

The lowest war is 10 vs 10, I think it would be fun to do a 5 vs 5 war.

I have about 5 irl friends that play clash of clans consistently, it would be good if I could war with just them and not need to find filters.
