How frequently do you upgrade heros?

I have been upgrading my AQ continuously (29 --> 30 as we speak) while leaving BK at lvl 20. It is one reason I stopped warring. I'm planning to start warring after AQ is done because I think wars without BK is tolerable but without AQ it's a huge disadvantage.

Yeah if I ever decide to start upgrading only hero, it will be AQ till 30. A lvl30 Aq is a huge advantage in warring and will help to farm the DE for the BK upgrades in no time.

At TH9 I had both down constantly at the same time till they were level 30. At TH10, with a vastly reduced farming schedule I constantly have one down at a time, there are odd moments when war starts just as I have a hero finishing their upgrade, in those moments I will keep them up a few hours to war. I have a mini to war with in the meantime.

With your situation I would just stop warring with one of your TH9 accounts and focus maxing those heroes out while leaving your heroes on the other TH9 for constant warring. Then switch once the heroes are maxed on one account.

I dont farm much on my 2nd account, neither do I have a huge problem warring without heros on my main. True enough its boring to pick on easier low th9, but I'm atleast warring 😊

I never upgrade my heroes... They have been maxed for quite some months now... Like the rest of my base (except the new walls and spells)... Waiting for Supercell to give us (finally) the possibility to continue playing whith a town hall update

My heroes have been 30/30 for 4-5 months now. I hate farming and rarely grind out any resource as my lab and defences are 100% maxed. Also with new de spells, research costs has taken all my de for some time.

I just started my BK to 31 this morning. Will bite the bullet and get him up to lv35 in the next 4-5 weeks. Warring without him will be fun to adapt to.

Aug-Dec 2014 : both heroes upgrading
Jan-Jun 2015 : AQ to 40
Jun-Oct 2015 : BK to 40 (36->37 now)

All non-stop, continuous every week.

It was rough keeping them upgrading towards the end but up to around level 30-35 they were constantly upgrading between weekly wars.

Since my early th9 i consider heroes as main upgrades objeectif, at mid th9 i dedicate 2 workers only for heroes and walls and focus fatminf on de, start from 10/10 lvl i adopt the same time upgrade way, i collect total de and go for bk aq one week upgrade with war off, i did so till around 20/20 when it become harde to collect up 200k, sametime i reached maaxed th9 even my plane was to max th9 with 30/30 heroes but i give up dont liking watching my workers in sleep. Now i totally off war and farm de using aq to push bk followed by aq then low farming one week, im 25/24 now
