    Spell Donation A bad Thing?

    Hi everyone,

As an avid reader of these forums I have read the rumors of donating spells to other clan members.

I don't know why some people think that this is such a bad thing personally I think its a good idea.
We have troop donation where you can donate max level troops to lower town halls, and that has not hurt the game
so why not spell donation? I would like to hear opinions nay or yay if you think spell donations help or hurt the game
Thanks and have a great day

    Regards,
    Don

    I vote yes

It would be interesting to be able to donate freeze spells to th9s so they can more effectively attack th10s.

But it would break game mechanics, Just imagine getting freeze spells as th 8's - that just makes the 3 star so easy!

My first thought is it would affect the balance too much causing an issue with the loot economy. One fully upgraded spell could make a huge difference in the ability of a player to clean out a base. If they made this an update they would have to add a defense buff to counter this.

A donated spell must take up one of your existing spell spots or it would be too OP, but honestly, it would be far too OP. Imagine a TH6 or TH7 with a level 7 lightning spell and mass dragons.

A freeze spell wouldn't help out a th8 very much, they are only specifically useful for locking down inferno towers, a th8 would benefit more from a rage or a heal than a freeze.

A TH8 getting a jump spell would make for more 3 star gowipes or being able to freeze the L6 teslas before they shread your L3 pekkas.

I'm not sure how a spell donation would work but if they introduce it I'll figure out a way to use it to my advantage as I'm sure others would.

They already have both of those. Increased level would help a bit, but would certainly not be OP.

The issue is with donating spells they don't have access to yet. Freeze would be one example, although I agree it is less use for a TH8 than a TH10 (but a TH8 could use it to lock down XBows if attacking a TH9, for instance).

Jump for a TH7 or TH8 would be another example, although since the introduction of EQ that would be less of an advantage.
