love the tag line... and flight of the ConChords...

Where did you get that preposterous hypothesis? Did Steve tell you that, perchance?

    Great idea!

I like this idea! New members are not in war anyway, so no value to them being able to see the war map.

spies are an issue. and short of closing my clan every second day, Supercell have no solution. actually - we've had spies on battle day AND on preparation day - so we'd really need to close our clan permanently.
This is our biggest issue too. I don't see the point of spectators being able to see traps and hidden buildings.

If people want to spy, it's up to them, but joining and looking is a bit too easy. They should at least have to try to extract the information through clan chat or some other more challenging way

FYI... The spies will not necessarily be from the clan you are warring with. They may be second or third accounts of members of the opposition. Do what we do...do not allow anyone in during war unless you know them.

This isn't a solution if the spy is a friend from a bro-clan or someone with multiple accounts.

Like zapping- This is such a common complaint I fear the only option will be to "fix" it. I think the positives outweigh the negatives should this be fixed.

Is spying part of war- Yes...

Should "New" players excluded from war, still be able to see live war raids- Yes...

Does it suck having to suspect anyone requesting to join as being a spy- Yes...

Would it be nice to accept someone, knowing they couldn't see the war map even if they wanted to- Yes...

Because I like to have some people watch war replays so they can get better at the game. Who cares about spies anyways. Traps and Tesla's are usually obvious anyways and after the cc nerf, there is usually a dragon in all the cc. It sounds like you lost a close war and are blaming it on a spy instead of just owning up to the loss.

To all these ignorant people posting things like "stop crying" etc, why are you in here if you have nothing constructive to say? & Tesla & trap locations are obvious anyway? What kinda war bases does your clan rock bro? Who do you go up against? Unless you use ♥♥♥♥s, or lack creativity, this is not the case for the majority of bases.

    Spies are a problem.

Yes it is easy to close clan or set to invite only but as was said, that fixes nothing. Up & coming clans need new members. If your clan wars non-stop then getting new members can be extremely tedious. Preventing new members from seeing war map is not a good idea because friends sometimes pop in to see attacks & follow wars etc. It is pretty common.

My suggestion? Simple. Members wearing the "New" tag, once not a part of current war, should not be allowed to see Tesla & trap locations. Basically the same view a members of opponent clan would see. This remains that way until current war ends.

Nice topic bro. Keep the positive comments & ideas coming all

You will figure it out once you get past th8. Spies don't matter one little bit. And yes, I bet I could look at your base and know where the Tesla's and the traps are with a fair degree of accuracy. I don't have a problem with it in wars, I don't know why your base would be any different.

I have been at th 10 for some time now & i still see this as something that should be addressed. Yes, for more experienced players like ourselves we can assume to a fair degree of accuracy where Teslas & traps are, but it is not always that this is so. What about the newer members or clash players as well? & there are many bases where opponents have simply switches locations of these two, using "what we know" against us. There are also bases where it is impossible to predict where what is. You cannot tell me honestly that this is not so. If i know exactly where are traps are in a close war, planning a strategic three star attack can be very simple & make the entire difference in a war. One star is alt it takes. Not sure if you are referring to two star attacks or rushing to take out the TH & hoping for the 50 #yoloswag Leroy Jenkins style, but i am referring to three star attacks & how much knowing trap & Tesla locations for sure can make.

Because you do not care for it does not mean you should not try to see why others do sir. Appreciate the reply & I hope you can see why this would be a nice thing for SC to address in a lot of people's opinions.
