Can a max TH8 win against a TH9 with average TH8 def+xbows?

I recently got matched with some TH9s with average defenses this war, but most of them had xbows. So i want to ask, do i have a chance stand against them? (Im a max TH8 with max troops and BK10)

I don't think so, for a th9 to 3 star th8 is quite easy.. But th8 to do that kinda tough.

If all they have are TH8 defenses plus bows...yes. That's still fairly easily hoggable with goho. Now if they have a queen, and some other TH9 items...it's getting harder.

u can 2star any mid-TH9

but any TH9 can 3star u with a good gowipe / lavaloon /maxhogs easily

Yes, it possible but on a bad base layout.

3 things are important :

1) Exposed Queen.
2) Bad or obvious giant bomb placement.
3) Bad spring trap placement.

The 3 star would be tough but you should be able to get a solid 2 star with Max TH8 Gowipe army. Get some witches or hogs in cc to help out.

Not that easy especially with queen on defense. You need a good way to deal with her. Also not to mention 2 well placed double giant bombs will destroy your hogs. It's easy to 2 star though.

sometimes if our TH8 is not sure about 3staring his number (th8)
and i'm sure i can't 3 star my mirror(th9)
i give him the TH9 cause he can 2star it
and i take the TH8 for 3stars
