I am th 9 player with lvl 7 walls.should i dump my all resources in walls or do defense first ??. I am thinking of pushing to crystal for walls should i? Help please.

You should upgrade walls only, but i strongly recommend against doing so in crystal league

Gold 1, Crystal 2 and 1.
All of these leagues are pretty good.

Defenses are more important than walls. This doesn't mean that you neglect walls, upgrade them with defenses.
Keep all your builders busy and when a builder is free, dumb all the excess resources on walls and make the builder work again on walls. That's in general.

But, if you feel that lvl 7 walls make your base weak, upgrade your walls to lvl 8 then start upgrading defense with walls.

How easily can i find loot in crystal??

1) use cheap armies like barch, bam, gibarch and gibam.
2) farm after 3 or 4 pm EST (That's the time I like the most).
3) If you don't have that much time to play and you want to earn more resources, try boosting.

Level 7 walls are all you need until you want to push to high champ.

definitely put all your loot into building and lab upgrades before walls.

I generally find crystal the worst league for loot, but there is really not much difference in loot between leagues.

you should choose a league where you can farm comfortably with cheap armies, make good profits and not lose much loot.

What is your goal? Do you war? What level are your troops currently? How active are you?

These two steps assume that you have level 6 barbs, archers, and giants.

1. There are too many variables for us to advise you on what you should do. If you are super active and have the farming troops leveled up, I say ignore your defenses outright and work on walls, offense, and resources. Max out your drills, collectors, camps, storages, and troops while dumping all available gold into clan castle and walls. If you don't have any loot to steal, your defenses don't have to protect anything.

2. If you only play for an hour or two per day and not in a single session, I'd work on the defenses and keep a builder free for walls to work on them intermittently.

This section is if you are a newer TH9.

If you don't have the farming troops upgraded the only real defense against others stealing your loot is to not have any gold on hand. Upgrade your farming troops in the lab, spend elixir on your army camps and DE drills. Getting the extra 20 troop spaces and level 6 farming troops is essential to better looting.

I never understood why it is an "either or" question with so many players. How about a balanced approach to both?

Before earthquake I would have said walls but I'd go with defense
