I've started 32 days ago and currently 203 walls are done.
I started "farming" walls after i finished all my lab and building upgrades in feb 2015 (22 months of playing coc).
In feb i had level 20 heros and all level 7 walls. since then i have been farming dark for heros. Now heros are 35/32 and i have 168 level 10 walls.
I farm casually (no sessions, no boosting). Slow and steady. I keep 1 hero upgrading and raid every hour or 2 when the other hero wakes up.
I will max my heros and then stop farming. I have never farmed specifically for walls and can't imagine ever doing so. seems totally pointless.

I do 1 - 2 a day but i primarily farm dark elixir at the moment

Took me around 3 and a half months, along with few buildings..
Level 120 Maxed TH 9, 250 Lavas. Currently grinding heroes.
Ok, that's pretty quick.
