What strats should I use to 3 star as a TH8

Im a TH 8 with max everything except golems, valks, hogs (lvl3), what strats can I use to 3 star my foes??

Depends on enemy base. Every th8 in my clan use gowipe only. Its most reliable three star strategy. But it fails on bases with lots of compartments. In those bases we use mass hogs or mass dragons. So it all depends on type of base you are attacking. I just reached th9 20 days ago. 90% of my war attacks during th8 time were gowipe And 90% of those attacks were three star. Rest of time i used hogs and dragons. Only problem with hogs is if u do it wrong then it turns from 3* to a 90% 1* pretty quickly. I have suffered a 99% 1* myself with hogs. And hogs must be of lvl 4 to be safer.

Hogs can work on any base at th8. Some bases can be worked with dragons. A few bases can be beaten with gowipe/valks.

Hogs might take the most skill but they are by far the best and most versatile.

Just like they have said , every base is diferent some have weaknes cuz there open were golems would be good sisnce its a less chance for them to get stuck and they can tank better. Or if air defences are expoced then an air attack like dragons or ballonion even. But hands down the best attack is hogs but no just mase hogs but any diviation of an attack that includes hogs like a gohog for example but the truth is there is no th8 base that isnt 3 starable with any form of a hogrider atack . So when all else fail hogs is the way to go, but of corse chosing the best way to deploy your attack and exelent yse of the spells is crutial

Yeah my lvl 3 hogs get close but I know they would do better if they were higher level. Those 1 star 90%s hurt ouch!! Thanks bro!

Red bit I would take with a pinch of salt..( most GOWIPES hit 2 stars at TH8 )
So for me Hogs lvl4 all day long then golems for using GOHO👍

I agree lv4 hogs are best option once you learn them, but if you can't 3* a th8 with GoWiPe (Max pekka in cc and max th8 troops in camp) then you are doing it wrong. I rarely see GoWiPe fail vs th8 unless it is very compact base with multiple compartments, then hogs are better choice anyways.

Don't let the GoWiPe haters on forums steer you wrong, GoWiPe works very well vs th8. I see many more fail with hogs than with GoWiPe each war.
