The lava pups do indeed target air troops. Had a hound in my cc and when it exploded, the pups went after attacker's loons.
Yea they act like minions so no changes to pup..

Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment.
The pups can still be dangerous and the hounds still tank like hell. The damage of the hound does not matter anyway.
The only real difference is when doing a dragon attack with the new lightning spells and there is no ground troop that gets in range of the cc. In this case the hound never gets out so if you know there is a hound inside and 2 ads are covering each other, just zapquake 2 ads and attack the remaining 2 ads with dragound and a hound in the cc. Mix in some loons as needed, but no hogs if they cuold get into the range of the cc.
