Adventurous Farming Strategies

I'm a new town hall 9 and I'm pretty much bored of the classic Barch and the Gibarch strategies, I love farming but I wanna start to experiment and do with other troops, I have max town hall 8 troops btw. Anyone got a fairly cheap farming strategy but adventurous and different?

Those 2 are well known because they are the best.However since archers have now become more expensive maybe we need to find a new one.Minions can be used.... But you might want to save that darkElix for your royals.Since you want to be adventurous, try barbarians goblins and wallBreakers or something like that.Cant place any bets on its chances of success though.

No. Those two are your cheapest and efficient options. Everything else is:

• Too expensive so you lack profit
• Takes too long so you don't make as much in the long run

Stick with GiBarch and you'll be fine.

False! Depends on what you're farming. While farming De, it's better if you go with an elixir army & for elixir farming, going with De is the best option otherwise, spending 100-150k to get 300k still isn't very eifficient!

Currently, I'm farming De with GiWi which costs 200k Elixir & It's good enough for me. I usually end up having bases which offer 300k+ elixir, so it doesn't count as a loss.

I totally disagree, DE is much too valuable to be spent farming gold or elixir. Every bit is better spent on heroes or dark troops if you're still a newish th9.

You aren't really farming if you're not using cheap, quick armies. The whole point is to keep costs down, and profits high. Want a change though, practice your war attacks instead of farming. Sure, they won't be war bases, but it's better than nothing. I know, this uses de, and I just wrote it was too valuable to be used for farming, but this won't be farming.

Although, if you're bored of farming already, you might wanna just put your collectors out for everyone and quit the game now. It costs more to max th9 than you've farmed so far. Far more. Off the top of my head, something like 7x more.

Well, once you've finished upgrading your lavas, then an elixir army would be great. But you don't want to use a high cost elixir farming to get DE when:

• You still have walls to upgrade
• You still have elixir troops in the lab to upgrade
• GiBarch is capable of getting the 2,500 DE per raid you need for smaller cost

But otherwise, yes high costing elixir based strategies work well at the end of TH9 when you don't need to spend elixir on ANYTHING. Because why waste elixir when it can go into walls?
