As a TH10, u should be able to hit other TH10s...or u should just drop to masters/crystal. See lots of TH9 here.

Well, after reading this, you (the OP) made me waste as shield lol, and not attack some bases that had decent loot...

I think that after the update, it is likely a lot of TH10 players decided to lower their trophy count so they can farm TH9s with more gold. This is likely due to the 25 new walls that they need to upgrade in a hurry.
It has nothing to do with any new matchmaking rules.
Stop the trolls please. My TH8 main gets TH6-10. TH7 Mini gets TH5-9. They didn't change nothin'
Imeadiatly after Update I saw a lot more TH10 more than usual, I'm low 9.
But after about 6 hours it turned down to normal again, see many T9s, some T8s and T10 are the lowst numbers
