    Is Hayday destroying my ipad?

The slow-as-molasses situation seems to have more-or-less gone away. In its place, however, is a very strange and alarming situation.

When HD is closed and reopened at some later time, sometimes it freezes. It is open but nothing is moving and the iPAD is completely frozen. After pushing buttons, trying to turn it off, etc. it finally (so far) reboots and comes back up in that strange inverted colors situation.

What in the world? Does anyone know if HayDay is actually damaging my iPAD? Will it get to the point where it just freezes and never reboots until it finally runs out of battery power?

Then finally I can go to clan chat and then I start typing... Well I type and I can watch my ipad2 type by its self... It takes usually 3 min till my message gets posted in the chat... And then the app closes.. Usually before I can do anything btw...

ive been trying to get my account on my android phone but without any progression... It just closes the game...
I have tried resetting my iPad so that nothing is installed on it and only downloaded hayday.. Same results...
I don't have anything running on the background... My internet speed is up to 120mbps and have a good connection.

only hayday got this problem no other app.. All is working perfectly...
so please can anyone tell me how to fix this?

ill be waiting for answers. Thnx J.

    Unhappy Can't play anymore

I have the same problem. IPad 2, iOS 9.1, Hay Day starts really show and then when the farm finally shows, the screen turns black and I return to my homescreen. I have about 2.5 Gb of free space, that should be enough right? The problem started after upgrading iOS to 9.1.

Have you guys updated to the latest optional update which should fix the crashes? Please check app store if there's the optional update available for you and try again!

    Cheers,

as stated in various threads, gone to app "where is the update one ? ", just hay day there, and have uninstalled reinstalled and still hay day crashes back to play icon,
facebook takes ages of taps to connect, and game center does not always connect .
all bad since ios 9xx came out, now on 9.2 (ipad 2)
note after going to the update link and re installing everything the link is still saying go to update ??
should not the link in news go away ?

I have had the problem of crashing and slowing on my iPod touch 5th generation (currently iOS 9.1) since upgrading the iOS version to 9.0. Here is a list of issues and resolutions that I've recorded:
    • version 9.0
      • The game is really slow-acting, no matter what I'm doing
      • The game crashes very often (but not often enough to allow me to harvest crops, do farm actions, etc. for ~5 minutes)
      • Typing in chat was slow most of the time, delaying about 10-15 seconds

    • version 9.0.1
      • The issue of slowness is not resolved yet
      • Crashing still exists in the frequency of iOS 9.0
      • Typing in chat still was a problem

    • version 9.1 (current)
      • The slowing has been resolved, except for the chat
      • Crashing is reduced, but still noticeable enough to annoy me
      • Even with the update, trying to type in chat sometimes has lag.

    • All of the versions
      • Game Center does not connect most of the time

The crashing happens randomly, whether I'm harvesting crops, sitting idle, or just starting the Hay Day app. I hope the issues will be fixed next update.

I have no issues on my iPad Air 2 anymore. However my iPhone 5 still does the freezing sometimes. When I open the game it shows the last picture I left it to but never loads the game and completely freezes my phone. The only way to fix it is to reboot the phone by pressing the home button and the start button at the same time. I did wait once to see if it would ever unfreeze and the phone just rebooted itself after a few minutes.

I'm not sure but it seems like the freezing happens when I've had hay day running in the backgroud for a long time or maybe when I have a lot of apps running in the background. I try to remember to force close hay day and all other apps as often as I remember. It seems to fix the issue. Hay Day won't freeze unless it's already running in the background.
