    Poison spell - less damage to heroes?

    It can almost kill a 2.7k health unit (roughly) - Drag level5

    But barely does a dent on a 1.6k hp queen? I know otherwise it woud be OP, but atleast say it does a MASSIVE reduction when used on heroes.

    Yup I lost a war attack once because this wasn't mentioned in the poison description. a hard lesson

    I think poison only does 0.25x damage to heroes, at least that's how it was before the recent update.

    Don't even take heroes into consideration when using poison, it's useless on them.

    This is because they don't want the poison spell to be the most op spell in the game, it already sorta is tbh though. If you were able to take out 3/4s of a max aqs health, with one spell, do you think that that would be fair? The game wouldn't be as balanced as it is if they make the poison spell able to take out heros quickly. That's why, they won't make the poison spell do more damage to heros. There is an explanation for everything that they do, and this is the reason why they did that I believe.

    I think OP knows all of this, but understandably wonders why SC doesn't actually tell people this fact.

    Pretty stupid how many things the game has that you would never ever know about unless you looked it up online. Really big things too, like how precisely the TH loot penalty works, or the max cap you can lose from storages based on your TH level. You'd think there would be a read me or FAQ or general info about the game actually within the game/app itself.

    Yep ^^. Just wish there was a bit of clarity instead of having to work it out yourself.

    The poison effect is diminished. It's not the first time that something is diminished for heroes. Just look at healers. They only heal at a 50% rate on heroes.

    It would be way too OP if it could kill a hero. Like healing on heroes is OP, they probably half it or even less.

    Now how about SC put that information in the stinkin' game?
