    Bring It Back SC!!!!!!!

    So I am someone who uses Earthquake spell a ton and know how it works.
    What I don't understand is why they decided to nerf it. Yes it still breaks walls with four of them, but now if you only use one it's useless.
    Before update one EQ spell did 24% damage to walls. Now it only does 14% walls wich is a huge change. I carried around two( which knocks off half of walls hp) so my troops can just punch through walls.

    As you can see the extra x4 was removed.

    It still does the same damage to walls, that much hasn't changed about it..

    Unless you bring a multiple of 4 EQ spells to crush walls, you probably shouldn't bring EQ spells

    And it's not been nerfed. Slightly nerfed on walls, slightly buffed on buildings

    This^ i did find two useful enough to use for farming purposes before the update(if golem or giants were stuck hitting walls) but now it's a waste of spell slot.

    In this video he said the first earthquake spell always does 25% damage, so if I'm understanding this right, it would be better to just bring 1 earthquake spell compared to before..

    I wouldn't say it is nerfed. I would never have tried using 2 for walls, it is either 4 or don't bother.

    But now it can also be reasonably used in conjunction with lightning to knock down buildings such as Ad with slightly fewer total spells, thus giving you an extra rage or heal.

    A max level EQ spell does 25% damage on buildings as the first drop. If it isn't max level, the amount will be somewhat less.

    A single spell does less damage to walls than it did previously. If the objective is to knock a group of them down, 4 spells still do that. You might even get more damage to surrounding structures; I haven't investigated that. The new spell does allow for some interesting tactics such as killing an AD with 1 EQ and 2 lightning, freeing up a single spell slot compared to using 3 lightning.

    The OP seems to be having trouble coming to grips with the fact that the game has changed. Newsflash: it happens all the time, keeps the game more interesting, and a successful player is one who can adapt.
