I updated the new hay day optional update today and back to running full speed with absolutely no freezing up. It is now running better than ever. Hopefully will work for you too.

Update appears to be more stable, although after playing for about an hour, the app crashed. Restarted app and it ran smoothly for a little over an hour and then crashed. I will say stuttering and freezing problems appear to be resolved, but crashes still occur. Running HD on iPad Air 2 iOS 9.1. Thanks for fixing 2 of the 3 problems. I hope you will continue to research the random crash problem and resolve it.

My household has been running an iPad Air 2, an iPad Air and two iPhone 6's... not a single freeze or crash whatsoever at all over the last 12 hours or so. The iPhones have only had a little usage but the iPad's have had extensive play over the day.
Hi Nick, reporting that on an iPhone 5S, latest update V. 1.26.117.17, the update has been running for almost a full day now, all issues are resolved and Hay Day is back to its old days.
This update also resolved a minor stutter while initially panning through the list of facebook friends, which had been present for over one year.
Wondering if the files provided by forum members in this thread a few days ago, or any of the hints for replicating the issue helped at all? Any chance of a hint as to what was the cause?
Not for me and some others still crashes if you use chat to much
not for everybody. Game runs better but chat I crash.
I just played for 4 hours straight with no stuttering, freezing or crashing. I shopped the DD with speed, and chatted with neighborhood members with no typing lag. So far, the fix seems to be a good one. Three cheers from me!
I don't want to jinx it but I have not had a single crash or freeze since the update. Hopefully it remains that way! Woo!
