Most of these are completely legitimate reasons for being kicked. Spoilers, telling higher town halls how to attack (that's really annoying btw), attacking in war with a substandard army (even if you 3 star, it sets a bad example and rules have to be employed consistently), ...

And nobody is kicked out "for no reason." Completely random actions is literally insanity. What this is, is you didn't know the reason, but my experience with people who join that were kicked from a previous clan "for no reason," is that you are probably annoying af.

Any successful clan must be doing something right in the way of clan management. But it's tricky business, and for every clan doing it well, there's gotta be a 1,000 that aren't.

Now for my story, which is also a perfectly legitimate kick, but it ♥♥♥♥♥♥ me off so lets call it stupid. Once upon a time, back in the days when nobody upgraded their air defense, dragons were generally considered too expensive and an "unfair" tactic in clan war, and giants roamed the earth, I had a war clan that won 95% of its wars through superior spending. Now, we had some high level people that were not active but the leader would not kick and he said we could cover their attacks--and generally we could, but war loot was not what it is now, and without frequent farming the war machine broke down. The leader, in particular, about once a week stopped war completely so he could have enough elixir to continue. Delaying 49 other people because you don't have elixir was a horrible thing to do, especially when we already cover people's attacks.

And I told him so. Nicely at first, but the situation was not changing, and it was untenable for me, so I sent a clan mail referring to the leader as a "delicate princess." He let me finish war, then kicked me, then kicked my girlfriend assuming she would try and sabotage the clan. Which, I understand, but she filled all the clan castles herself... so hurting the clan was not in her best interest. Anyways, we moved on, found another war clan. Left that one when the leader got real witchy with a b.

And then we started our own, and then our second, and our third, and they're all doing better than my previous clans. I look back at them occasionally, 2 filled up with noobs to get easier wars, one has a lot of pretty trophy levels but their wars won occasionally stalls for a while, so I assume the war log is horrific. Last clan level, my previous clans took a week to catch up. Still waiting to see how long it takes this time.

So was it stupid for my leader to kick me, even though if I remained in leadership that clan might be doing as well as my clans? No, I challenged his authority, and nobody would take him seriously if he didn't do that. I knew it when I did it.

What happened to the original clan? Did it collapse?

For my next invention, a hidden defense that pops out of the ground and starts shooting heavy iron balls at people. Do NOT call it a cannon! It's an iron ball launcher!
Then can I retrain them into Archer towers.....? They just snooze all damn day....
Not sure about all wallbreakers, they might die too quickly... I would add a few healers.

How can it be a substandard army if it three stars? What's substandard about L7 giants or similar cheap but strong troops...
I should use a 3 Golem 3 Witch GoWiWi and full spells to three star a TH8 in 45 seconds? just so I can point to the fact that I did in fact use a strong army...

    This makes literally no sense.

They're still around, 183 wins (that really should be well over 200 if they kept their win rate up), lv 7 clan, with only 40 people though. Only 4 of the people are the same from when I was there.

Yes, exactly. Just so you can point to the fact you used a strong army. Sure, you can 3 star with giants, but what about when the other members decide they don't need to spend a lot on an army either?

Occasionally, I send one of my alts to another war clan to see what others are doing, and sometimes I pick up handy tricks and tips, and sometimes I see disasters to be avoided. One such clan was a Malaysian clan, and I don't speak the language, but quite a few of them knew English and were kind enough to translate for me. These guys took war barch to a whole new level, if you can believe that. They 3 starred with it, and quickly that's what everyone was doing. And that's all well and good while it works, but as they grew in level, they attracted higher level people, and unsurprisingly, those people stopped spending big bucks on armies and started "war barching" themselves.

Needless to say, it didn't turn out well. There was more to the attacks than stars, they taught others, set the bar.

Had a similar issue with allowing sniping when there wasn't anybody left a person could pick up stars on. It may not seem to make sense to require a legitimate war attack on a 3 starred base, but it's practice, it shows me that people will show up for both attacks when it is needed, and when sniping was allowed people started waiting to attack just to go for the easy loot and it eventually grows into a problem. Everything is all well and good until 10 people in your clan are waiting until the last minute for some easy war loot instead of working to win the war. Guess how many players that ended up costing me

I will always work to explain the rules, and why they exist, because I find that's easier for people to accept typically, but the bottom line is that the rules are there and it doesn't matter whether a member agrees with them or not. Just like what got me kicked, the authority of the leadership has to be respected. The leader can't get anything done otherwise.

My mini was kicked from a clan as an elder because I wouldn't take charge of the war tactics since my main was the leader of an other clan and quite busy at war time (our war were at the same dates and time).

There were 4 co leaders in the clan that weren't doing anything to coordinate war attacks.

I'm in nearly constant danger of being kicked every time I disagree with any policy-level decisions our "co who is really in charge" makes. She doesn't want rules to exist, she just wants to do whatever she wants. I open the clan and ask elders to add a player or two, and she closes it immediately. I suggest that players who are inactive a for months at a time (no league, no donates, no busy builders) be kicked and she categorically refuses to discuss it because they're "people who know someone in the clan IRL".

We have sparred about things I think are important countless times and she essentially never agrees to doing things my way. She justifies her way and the discussion, heated or not, ends with that.

I'm pretty certain that my being married to her is the only reason I'm still in the clan.
If you need to ask "Should I upgrade my Townhall?", the answer is no.

Kicked from bunch of clans when I shared a nice collector raid where I used 8 finger deployment for bam on my iPad. Most of the messages included the word Che@ter / B0tter in them.

I did try and explain to a bunch of them but to no avail.
