Every war raid I have ever seen, that used Valks have failed lol. Not being funny, if I see a valk in the mix, it's insta fail for some reason. Maybe people don't know how to use them, or Valks just suck, jury is still out. But my feelings are there are much better uses for that 8 space.

Hmm.. I guess you need describe how do you use valk. So other can help with clue from you. In my clashing time & drifting season, I saw many of Valk Strat get good result.

It really depends on her jobs. Once I knew a cooker Valkyrie, she had to clean all her vegetables before preparing.

If you pull cc and have lower level heroes, try swapping a few wizzies on your kill squad for a few valks if you are doing cold blooded, makes a huge difference. As I was saying earlier, the AQ can sit back and take out the flanks by herself, and don't have to worry about wizzies getting taken out by mortars or wiz towers or anything else.

My heroes are mid (20,23) but yes I do use a few wizzies to create the funnel and a couple more to back up the golem/valk/heroes. I agree with you. I have used 1 golem and at times 2 golems. The higher my heroes get the more I want to use two golems when possible.

Everyone laughed at me in my clan when I said that I was going to use valks a TH 8. I get to TH 8, get drags to 3, increase dark storage, valks to lvl 2, and begin 3 starring in war. No more laughs, only people starting to convert.

Valkyries are just like every other troop, they work in certain situations. You can't just pick any base and say "yup, cook valks and kill." Doesn't work like that. Just like certain bases are hog bases or air bases, some are perfect for valks. Valkyries thrive in bases with corridors and open spaces where they can run around and destroy. If you have a base with tons of tiny compartments, valkyries are going to get nuked when they get stopped at every wall and try to break through. But as others have said, you need to funnel valkyries efficiently. If you don't their AI will take them running all over the place as they look for the best way to squeeze between 2 or more buildings and take them all out at once.

Know a units strengths and weaknesses before writing them off.

they work with similar units adjacent to them like pekka. getting a tank unit like a golem does not help if the defenses change targets or if the valkyrie runs ahead and already gets the heat. the pekka plays a good tank role and gets through walls and defenses faster to keep your Valkyries swinging. only ranged units are a good combinations with slow tankers like the golem as they will almost always stay out of range.
