A friend joined our clan. At the time i was a very rushed TH8.
He was a defensively maxed out TH9 with all skulls. I thought he was god of this game.
In hindsight he had puny 8/10 heroes so today I would consider him rushed.

When I was a noob, I thought the edge of the base would work like a wall!

When I was a noob. I thought that in war, all i had to do was finish off the rest of the attack to get the last star in war. Attacked high and got no stars. Everyone laughed at me.

When I was a noob....there was no 'pushing' to get the gems and get 3rd builder.
Everybody except a very smart few perma pushed. They just thought that's how the game was....this was August-sept 12 though, the dark ages of nubdom.
TH10s with 50+ hero levels, 9.5s with 40+, silent noobs<> needs you!

and i were laughing about my TH8/TH9 friends for getting 2/1 stars

These are hilarious! Guilty of so many of them.
When I was a noob I built strong armies every time and wondered why I could never stockpile up any elixir. I also did not realize that nexting was essential to looting.
When I was a noob.. I thought protecting the TH was the most important thing in the game. To where my loot was outside. I started getting frustrated and just wanted to quit because I could never upgrade anything, until my friend gave me some tips on farming bases and told me TH means nothing. I'm glad she did that, I would've missed out on this awesome game.
