I have a mini thats a th8 right now. and i can tell you it has a lot more features than when my main account was a th8. geez, i feel like an old person saying "when i was your age..." lol but no, theres been a lot of upgraded features to th8.

Maybe im some idiot whose played games before the freemium age. Someone who dialed into Warcraft matches and is kind of miffed. Maybe this is my place to me shooed away from a game that demands thousands, tens of thousands from whales, and hundreds a month from loyalists.

I feel that some good points have been made but unfortunately this thread is quickly losing credibility.

I agree that an elixir sink for late TH8 would be nice to deal with surplus but I don't support having any more toys at TH8 just to deal with that.

Waste is less of an issue than imbalance and TH8 seems balanced to me. In fact I had a great time at TH8 despite lix surplus. Easily the easiest hall to progress out of 8, 9 and 10.

The good news is you have the option to move up despite what your clan says. All the toys are coming your way eventually.

Not sure that you are genuinely engaging with the points others have made. A shame because among the usual forum noise some people have genuinely sought to constructively tackle your points.

I felt that you brushed off the point about the th9 elix drought (which was an actual significant problem at the time) with far less regard than you would like to have extended to your (imo) lesser issue.

DD I think folks have said, if you're bored at 8 just go to 9. Problem is solved.

I realize that would require you to leave a clan you like (or sit wars or be booted I don't know their rules) but you are faced with a choice - stay in your clan and grind out 8 - leave your clan and jump to 9 - quit the game.

Th8 took me less than 4 months with no gems to be 100% maxed. Compared to th9? That takes minimum 1 year. Good luck. If you can't ♥♥♥♥ th8 lol
