I flew through TH8, maxed everything including walls in decent time. It has to be one of the easiest THs in the game to farm. The only bad part of TH8 is that you can't defend yourself very well and war attacks are kinda boring until you get hogs maxed.

TH9 is the reward and it's a lot of fun. Just buckle down, boost your barracks and max er out.

This. Except I disagree about boring war attacks. I enjoyed every attack I did because every base is different. (In war obv)

To op:
The gsme is honestly extremely well balanced rigjt now. What you are suggesting... they might as well make another game than mess up the current balance to the degree you say.

TRUST ME. If th8s can use elixir for walls than there would be very little incentive to go to th9. It would only be for the hardcore.

As I and countless others have said. The early elixir cost in new th9 is rediculously steep. However it is mitigated by the fact that late th8 has less use for it and tend to hold more of it.

IF NOTHING ELSE READ THIS:

Th8 is what separates the good players from the bad. TH8 is when the game actually requires a decent amount of time to progress. Up until then you can coast and still upgrade at a good rate. So please leave your whining at home and come join the rest of us enjoy the game how it is or don't play it.

When I first started with th8, I may have agreed with you, but now that I'm almost maxed, with only some walls left, I disagree. Th8 is hard, but just with defenses in my opinion, everything else like troop upgrades was so easy! There is tons of good loot out there, just need to search a bit more than normal. Think about it, every th has its difficulties, th9 needs lvl 30 heroes and 2 lvls of walls. For th7, it's a huge pain to get de for the king... But you gotta keep calm and chive on! So ya, if you feel like it's hard, deal with it. Rushing won't put you in any better position, and making th8 easier will only make the other th's harder.

Withces at TH8? No point. Attack/Defense is already pretty balanced in TH8vTH8, if anything, it's even easy to 3* another TH8, so definitely another powerful troops is not needed, at all.

Elixir for skulls? Discussed 1 milion times why it won't work I'm not even going to explain

Collector raids dried up? Strange, I'm doing 8 skulls a day out of collector raids

TH8 as well. I agree that attacking another th8 is pretty balanced overall. I'm not nearly the farmer like Bene, but I'm getting along just fine.

I think you're one of those people that always has to be right even if every single person is telling him not only that he's wrong but WHY he's wrong. You came to the forums looking for validation on your ignorant theories on how the game should be, while admitting you've only experienced half the content.

If you max out th9 (and I suspect you'll rage quit long before then based on your inability to master one of the easiest stretches of the game), I really doubt you'll still be preaching about how unbalanced the game is for th8s.

Agreed. TH9 is lots of fun. TH8 was really boring for me too, with what felt like heckloads of upgrades to do (2 lvls for Wiz Towers, 3 lvls for Teslas, those Lab Researches...). Fortunately enough, I was a TH8 only for like 2 months.

I maxed TH8 with very little elixir waste. The key is realizing that you need to focus 1st on DE and 2nd on gold. I'll admit that I gemmed a little lab time but the point still remains. Even at TH9 I still focus on DE. 40k/40k/2.5k dark I'll hit while I'll pass on 250k/250k/500DE.
