They are aware. If you go to the announcement section and look at the fall update thread, there is discussion there.
Also, because there is an event going on, both of my iPod 4th gen running 6.1.6 crashes and no longer loads. It should be over soon but it crashed a lot before the event.

They are long but lots of frustration and some replies from Nick.
Original iPad 5.5.1. Solid home wifi.
This issue has been here since last update is I stated. it would start but crash a lot as it waited for server response.
Now it seems this update has brought that issue right to the fore front on game boot as I no longer can get into game play. My home screen does show but at a no movement point. Then, as response from server either times out or becomes invalid then general game fault comes in and terminates, crash.

I downloaded the new IOS 9 update yesterday and both of my Ipads are freezing up and moving very slow on Hay Day

the 1st thread,about update contain derby leagues, give us 5.1.1 ios user no chance to play hayday.therefore they launch optional update at 2nd thread.that help us a bit. we can play still, when there's no event.but we are all isolated.never able to chat nor visit any other's farm. and when there's event,we cant play hayday at all.
I assume there was a maintenance update tonight... My game is having that connecting... Updating loop AGAIN. I don't understand how this is related to my wifi. This is the third time it's happened and it's FRUSTRATING. I don't have a 3G iPad I don't have another wifi to connect to at home. I dont have wifi at work.
Is wifi really to only way to fix this? Why doesn't my wifi work consistently with Hayday when it's fast and stable with every other app on my device, every game on my PC, and on every website I load? When I'm not being stuck outside of it, Hayday runs swimmingly. Why do some updates kill my game?
I was going to buy Tom on my iPad but I hired him on my iPod I'm losing him on my there causeI'm stuck on the loading screen eternally.
I guess I won't be buying diamonds for Tom if there's a risk I'm going to be stuck with every update...

I have this problem on my iPad 2 and iPhone 4 and 6.
When can we download the fix?
I'm able to play after 9-22 after maintenance
I shut down all notification, location, and the iCloud connection. Restarted with 148 available RAM and have been playing all evening. I was able to put two comments in chat, tried and crashed more that that. I was able to visit one farm, tried others and crashed. The game crashes sometimes when switching from farm to fishing. I am not logged into game center or Facebook. So, I think the changes they made are helpful. It seems to load much faster and if you are careful in the beginning, not rushing collecting crops, etc. it seems to become stable the longer it stays connected. That is when I was able to chat and help on another farm.
I am running ipad1 with 5.1.1 with the 1.26.1 optional update. Hopefully, this will continue, because I enjoy Hayday more than Township which is what I tried when I couldn't get in to HayDay.
So please keep up the good work.
